How to pick your base:

1. Find your size

Find which size base works for your machine. If you don't know have this info, it can likely be found in your machine manual or the machine specs. This tamper comes in 51mm, 53mm, 57mm, 58mm, or 58.35mm.

2. Pick your style: Convex or Flat

With a convex tamper, the bottom is slightly pointed in the middle so the coffee grounds will be pushed down and out slightly. This will create a great seal between the coffee grounds and the edge of the portafilter for a slow, even extraction.

For a tamper that is flat, it’ll create an extremely even extraction for a full-bodied brew.
