Most imported espresso machines come with a stainless steel braided water line to connect them to your water source.

It connects to your machine easily enough; the only problem is the other end of the line is usually 3/8" or 1/4" BSPP, not easily found here in Canada.

This connector will fit 1/4 braided hoses from European manufacturers

The fitting chrome section is a 1/4" Male BSPP x 1/4"Female NPT. The Brass fitting is a 3/8" SAE Flare x 1/4" Male NPT.
