What to know before bringing in your Machine or Grinder for service:

Call Ahead
We recommend calling our service department (905-817-8272) prior to bringing in your machine or grinder. This alerts our team to your coming machine and allows for possible over the phone troubleshooting, for easy to fix issues. Our service department operates Monday to Friday, but you are welcome to drop off a machine for service on a Saturday, however a Service Technician will not be in store to discuss your machine. There is a prepaid service fee for all machines and grinders brought in for service. We will provide a quotation before performing extra work, which would include parts and labour.
How We Work
We strive to complete inspection and quotation within one week (7 days) of dropping off your machine, but this timeline cannot be absolutely guaranteed. We strive to complete extra work within three weeks (21 days) after your acceptance of the quotation, unless there is a supplier delay in shipping parts to us, which is out of our control.
Warranty can only be claimed with proof of purchase from Espresso Planet. This means, if you bought a machine from another store and require service, we will not be able to service the machine under warranty, but we are still more than happy to fix your machine outside of warranty (at a cost to you).
Repair warranty is 90 days for the related parts. In the event your machine is not picked up within 60 days of the drop off date, Espresso Planet may act on your behalf to dispose of the unit.
If you are looking to purchase a part for your machine or grinder, we request that you call ahead, allowing us to confirm if the part is in stock and prepare the part for you. We do not guarantee the availability of any part for walk in pick ups with no prior arrangement or call.
DO NOT leave machines in freezing temperatures for an extended period of time as this will damage internal parts.
