Question: Do the BestMax and BestProtect water filter and softener cartridges from BWT work for a WMF espresso coffee machines ?

Answer: If you bought a WMF espresso coffee machine it very likely came with a proprietary water softener system BWT Bestmax Type WF for WMF Americas Inc. The North American NSF version of the BWT Best Water filter and softener cartridges do not fit the WMF-BWT Type "WF" blue quick change heads.
