Chemex has introduced another member to their family, the Ottomatic. This machine gives the convenience of a single pour over with the assistance of a pulsing water bath to ensure prefect contact between water and coffee in turn providing a tasteful cup of java.
Simply by filling the tank with water to your desire level and by placing the filter along with one rounded tablespoon of coffee for every 5 ounce cup desired, then turn "on" the coffeemaker and watch the "red" light turn to "white" indicating all the water has been exacted to the last drop of coffee into the carafe. Chemex Ottomatic newest "greedy cup" sprayhead technology provides stage brewing cycle, pulsing water bath to ensure and maintain temperature. Heating water to Specialty Coffee Industry Target Temp ( 197.6F - 204.8F ) Facilitating even extraction. Ottomatic also manages key brewing variables such as pre-infusion, contact time of water to coffee and the hot plate keeps the coffee constantly warm at a temperature of ( 170 F ) without burning or compromising flavour.
Fits all 5, 6, 8 cup Chemex coffeemakers and requires the use of CHEMEX bonded filters
