Nestlé opens major Nespresso production site in Avenches

On 10 June 2009 Nestlé inaugurated its second Nestlé Nespresso Production and Distribution Centre in Avenches, Switzerland. The new 400,000m3 state-of-the-art facility will produce and distribute 4.8 billion Nespresso capsules a year resulting in the creation of 340 full-time jobs by the end of the year.
