How To Clean Bonavita Enthusiast One-Piece Lid

How To Clean Bonavita Enthusiast One-Piece Lid

Step 1: Remove the lid from the carafe and place it in a container of coffee cleaning solution, containing cleaning agents such as Urnex Cleancaf® or Biocaf Coffee Equipment Cleaning Powder. Gently agitate and rotate the lid while submerged to allow trapped air to escape. Allow the lid to soak for approximately 30 minutes, and then remove.

Step 2: Place the lid in a separate container of clean, hot water, and gently agitate and rotate the lid while submerged to allow trapped air to escape. Allow the lid to soak for approximately five minutes. If the water looks murky, repeat step one and two until the water becomes clear.

Step 3: Remove the lid from the container of hot water. Rinse hot water through all openings of the lid that are located on the top, side, and bottom, and then flip upside down. Shake the lid until there is little to no water exiting its spouts.

Note: You may be wondering “what’s that sound?” Do not fret! The sound you may be hearing is not water that is trapped inside the lid. Rather, it is a spring inside the lid that allows residual water to exit the lid more easily.

Step 4: Lastly, allow the lid to air dry upside down on a drying rack.

That’s it! Cleaning your Bonavita Enthusiast One-piece Lid has never been easier, and doing so will ensure that you can enjoy a stellar cup of coffee time after time.
