Fellow Stagg EKG+ Kettle Rundown + 60 Second Unboxing Video Review

The Fellow Stagg EKG+ Gooseneck Kettle is finally here after months of waiting and even a Kickstarter campaign. So what makes the EKG+ different from the EKG or the regular Fellow Stagg kettles? Let's break down the differences:
- Bluetooth Connectivity
- This is the major difference between the EKG+ and the EKG. Connect to the Brew Bar App by Acaia to easily control all of the variables of your water.
- You can connect the Baratza Sette 270W and Acaia Scales to the app as well, to have full control over your manual brew.
- The app allows you to track water and coffee usage to reduce waste and calculate costs.
- Gives you live bean:water and bean:beverage ratios.
- Preset your preferred settings for temperature and compare to a master brew setting using the detailed analytics.
- Remote Variable Temperature Control
- The variable temperature control of the EKG is taken to a new level with EKG+ by allowing you to not only set the desired temperature on the kettle base, but also from the app.
- Set a Goal temperature on the app so you can set it and not worry about waiting around, giving you the ability to do other things while your water boils.
- You can remotely turn the kettle on or off with the app too!
- Recipe Tracking
- Never miss or forget to jot down your stats for a great brew ever again. With brew tracking on the EKG+ through the app, you can always find the temperature, volume, grind size and every other stat for that perfect brew.
- Hold Temperature Option
- Available on the EKG as well, you can maintain your desired temperature so that your water is consistent from beginning to end.
- Integrated Timer
- Use either the Brew Bar App or the kettle base to time your pour, eliminating that extra step of fumbling around with a watch or timer.
