Latte Art on Super Automatic Espresso Machine

Latte Art on Super Automatic Espresso Machine
It was a real pleasure working with Franz Grünwald on a recent Timothy's World Coffee promotion:

It was a very busy event but I had a chance to chat with Franz briefly:

Franz agreed that the coffee beans in North America are generally roasted too dark, removing all the sweetness from the beans.

Further, he also noticed that we steam the milk way too hot. The North American industry standard calls for milk to be steamed to 160F. In Europe, milk is not steamed past 150-155F

Franz quickly made me a Latte on our Schaerer Super Automatic Espresso Machine we sponsored for this event:

And voila, there was a silky, smooth textured Latte to endulge into...

Watch the movie of Franz creating a leaf Latte Art in less then 50 seconds. Note that I did not tell him I would time his performance :)

Kudos to Timothy's World Coffee, The Vienna Tourist Board and Franz Grünwald putting this great event together to raise awareness of Great Tasting Coffee.
