Saeco Intenza Water Filter - Espresso Planet

The water filter cartridge Intenza fits SAECO Odea, Talea and Primea coffee and espresso machines manufactured after May 2008. All older models use the Saeco Aqua Prima water filter cartridges. The only way to tell which cartridge to use is to refer to the original user manual that came with the machine.

Intenza Aroma Setting

The water filter cartridge Intenza is equipped with the unique Intenza aroma setting, allowing the Intenza cartridge to tune in to your local water quality.

By means of the analytical test strip, which is provided with the initial cartridge enclosed to partners' espresso machines, the ideal aroma level can be easily determined according to local water quality in the following 5 steps:

Please remove the protective wrapper of the analytical test strips.
Immerse the reaction zone of the test strip into a glass of cold tap water for 1 sec.
Shake off excess liquid from the test strip.
Just after 1 minute the test strip changes colour.
Please compare the colour on your test strip with the colour-scale.

The INTENZA aroma setting on the bottom side of the water filter cartridge is to be turned to its respective aroma level (A, B or C) by adjusting the setting until the arrow shows on the right aroma level.

Thus, the Intenza aroma setting provides complete espresso and coffee enjoyment by individually intensifying taste, aroma and crema of the coffee.
