Gaggia S.p.A. is the best known Italian manufacturer of espresso machines and coffee makers for professional, commercial and household use and its name is synonymous with tradition and reliability the world over. The company was set up in 1948 by Achille Gaggia, the man to whom we are indebted for the success of espresso coffee all over the world: it was he who on September 5th 1938 filed patent no. 365726 with which the modern steam-free coffee with cream machine may be said to have been born. In 1977 Gaggia began producing espresso machines and coffee makers for the home, launching into the Italian market Baby Gaggia, which to this very day is considered to be the ideal family coffee-maker. Gaggia espresso machines have been available in Canada for years. All products are to this day made in the Robecco sul Naviglio plant (Milan), where tradition and care for details combine with state-of-the-art technology.

Gaggia espresso machines have evolved over the decades going from the traditional lever controlling a pressure-generating piston to a fully automated mechanism which, at the touch of a button, activates the mechanism regulating the grinding, dosing and brewing of delicious espresso coffee. All this is to be found in the "Gaggia Titanium" range, super automatic espresso machines ideally embodying the technological perfection resulting of years of experience.
GAGGIA has undertaken a process of renewal and diversification of its product lines, introducing a innovative range of multi-functional steam cleaners, a complete line of ironing systems and a luxury kitchen line.

GAGGIA's mission

For over 50 years Gaggia has been filling coffee-bars and homes throughout the world with the unmistakable and unique aroma of espresso coffee made with any of the innumerable Gaggia coffee machines, combining the sound tradition associated with one of the best-known brands in the Italian business scenario with innovation and technological evolution.

It is in this perspective that we at Gaggia wish to place ourselves on the ever more dynamic markets of the new millennium, as a company deeply rooted in the past as regards quality and care for details, yet projected towards the future in an incessant search for ever more efficient and more innovative performance and design, and this so as to meet even more fully our customers' needs.
Constantly evolving tradition.
