Cafe au Lait Pudding


  • 1 package Jell-O Brand Vanilla Instant pudding
  • 1 package Jell-O Brand Chocolate Instant pudding
  • 3 1/2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup strong coffee/pressure brew coffee
  • Whipped cream

  1. Follow the direction on the package for preparing the vanilla pudding:  add 2 cups of cold milk and pudding mix in a bowl and whisk for 2 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl prepare the chocolate pudding as follows: add 1 1/2 cups of milk and 1/2 cup of chilled coffee and pudding mix  in a bowl and whisk for 2 minutes.
  3. Transfer 4 tbsp of the vanilla and 4 tbsp of the chocolate pudding to a third bowl.  Add 2 more tbsp of chilled coffee to this bowl.  Whisk together.  It should appear a few shades lighter than the chocolate pudding colour.  Spoon into a tall latte glass and top with whipped cream and decorations.  Repeat for remaining pudding.  Refrigerate for 5 minutes.
