Although people say it's hard to make siphon coffee, it's really not - what's a pain is the alcohol burner that comes with it. Although I really didn't want to shell out more $$, I decided to take the plunge and boy what a difference. So worth it if you make siphon coffee. Takes all the hassle out - now it's an everyday thing, not a weekend thing. Note, I do pre-boil the water.
I received my Porlex in prompt fashion and am enjoying using it. Thank you to the staff who helped me with my purchase. It is nice to talk to a person who knows what you want and can speak with some knowledge of the product.
