This might be the best value on this website in terms of tampers. Simple design but very sturdy and comfortable to use. The 57mm version fits older Lelit-esque machine portafilters perfectly.

I was so impressed with Espresso Planet when I went for the first time today. My Breville espresso machine would not build pressure. I thought the pump was broken. Description

All great things need a firm foundation and that perfect foundation for the Rancilio Silvia Espresso Machine and the powerful Rancilio Rocky Coffee Grinder series is the handsome two-drawer, stainless steel coffee bar base by Rancilio.
 
Together they form an attractive trio of fine products for your espresso station. One drawer holds a durable hardwood bar for knocking clean the spent coffee grounds from your filter basket.
 
You may put it either on the left drawer or the right, leaving the empty drawer ready for supplies and accessories.

PLEASE NOTE:

The Rancilio Silvia base is delivered with the white protective laser film still installed on all stainless steel panels.

Please remove the white laser film.

You will find the high gloss stainless steel panels, hopefully unscratched, underneath the protective laser film.
