Without certain tools, it can be difficult to get the very tight "Fixers" onto the posts. The fixers can be pounded into place with a small plastic-faced hammer or pressed into place by a pair of wide opening pliers.

Description

Most imported espresso machines come with a stainless steel braided water line to connect them to your water source.

It connects to your machine easily enough; the only problem is the other end of the braided hose line is usually 3/8" female BSPP, not easily found here in the North America.

Note: You may need a gasket:

If your braided hose does not have any seal or gasket inside the connector and your are using one of our 3/8" BSPP male fittings, you'll need the gasket otherwise the connection will leak. Look under accessories for the gasket.

This connector will make your life easy. Stop searching several plumbing stores because they don't carry it.
