Out off the box, the Primea went through the self priming sequence with no troubles and in 10 minutes I had a delicious cappuccino in the cup.

By now, you've done a lot of research to learn what it takes to make that perfect shot. Many variables need to be calibrated hand in hand. The Primea gives you access to most of the brew variables, allowing the machine to be fully calibrated.

The Primea has intuitive menu driven programming capabilities. It is very easy to navigate through the vast amount of menus. The average user might find the endless list of menus somewhat overwhelming.

Milk Issues:

Keep in mind that dealing with fresh milk brings along the issue of cleaning. It is utmost important to keep the milk system clean. The Primea does a wonderful job keeping the milk system clean thanks to Nanotechnology.

The software will remind the user to rinse the milk system when needed. There are 2 milk containers included with the machine. One should be filled with water. Don't forget to switch the containers before pressing the rinse button, otherwise milk will be rinsed through the machine (I've seen this on other forums).

When ordering cleaning supplies, the following is required: Descaling liquid, coffee cleaning tablets and milk cleaning detergent.
