	Operator guidance The IMPRESSA X9 speaks your language, either in clear text messages or readily understandable graphics. It communicates with you and takes you to your favourite coffee specialities by the shortest and most direct route. The interactive clear text/graphic display guides you swiftly and smoothly through every stage of the program. Give your IMPRESSA X9 a personal flavour all of its own. In a few simple stages, you can change your greeting text or give coffee specialities a name of their own. It couldn't be more personal or individual

	Coffee specialities More than twenty different specialities can be programmed to suit your personal taste. Ten of them can be assigned their own keys. The machine makes popular coffees such as cappuccino or latte macchiato without needing to shift cups around.
	2 grinders Thanks to the two high-performance conical grinders, you can assign either one of the grinders or your personal blend from both of the grinders to the product keys. The separate bean tanks have an elegant, semi-transparent design and hold 650 g each. You can program your personal blend of beans entirely according to your preference. The active bean level monitoring system lets you know if a bean tank is nearly empty and when to fill it up.
	CLARIS plus Filter CLARIS plus filter cartridges can be used in the JURA IMPRESSA X9 The lime scale problem is solved cleanly, once and for all. The 2nd generation electronic filter monitoring system automatically informs you when filter capacity has been exhausted or and this is a completely new feature the two months active life of a cartridge have elapsed.   NOTE: A technician will install the initial cartridge for you if you wish to use it.  Please make a note in the comments field about whether you would like this done or not.  Thank you.

Convenience, Monitoring, Appearance and Safety Features

• Graphic Display System. Gives you short, plain language instructions: "Coffee Ready", "Fill Water", "Clean Unit" etc.
  

• Choose from seven languages in the dialog system. English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch.
  

• Select from "Continuous-on" or "Auto-off" from 1/2 hour to 9 hours in one hour increments. Makes sure the machine stays on as long as you want.
  

• Automatic hot water rinse cycle when the X9 is turned on and off. Cleans and pre-heats all vital brewing parts.
  

• Automatic cleaning cycle indicator prevents coffee oil build-up in the brew chamber. A short 15 minutes automated tablet cleaning program with clear instructions in the LED display insures clean inner parts and coffee that will never tastes oily or rancid. No inner parts need to be removed. The display will remind you automatically after approx. 200 cups of coffee.
  

• Automatic indicator when used coffee container is full. Used coffee container holds up to 16 coffee portions.
  

• Electronic water level sensor will never let the machine operate without water!
  

• Check how many cups of coffee you have made. Display can show total number of cups brewed and number of cups for each coffee button.
